The project starts from the east side of Linyu Bridge in the west and connects to the existing completed Science and Technology Avenue (Lin'an Section). It terminates at No.6 Shield Shaft on the northern side of Nanhu Embankment, with a total length of approximately 5 kilometers.

The project is divided into two systems: the expressway system and the at-grade auxiliary road system. For the expressway system, the underground expressway is about 1.77 kilometers long, and the at-grade expressway is around 3.25 kilometers long. The total length of the at-grade auxiliary road reaches approximately 3.76 kilometers.

Major construction contents cover road works, tunnel works, bridge works, pipeline works, tunnel electromechanical works and ancillary works.
